Start with a piece of cheesecloth 2 yards long and 1 yard wide. Place a helium filled balloon (white is best) in the middle of the fabric and gather loosely around balloon. Draw a horrid mask on the cloth with a felt pen. You can put some ghosts in a box and when people open the box the ghosts will float up and scare everyone! Or, you can place them on string in front of an open window or a fan and watch them gently move in the breeze.

Carve green peppers as jack-o-lanterns! You can have a whole row of them, and there are yellow and red peppers to try as well. Have a whole army of scary faces to greet goblins at your door.

You could use old white sheets or pillowcases to make ghosts, or you could get black socks, and turn them into spiders or witches etc. and create a puppet show. If you have any of those cotton balls, you could tear them apart and create spider webs. If you have anything in the fridge, such as fruits, you could make a platter of fruit, but you could cut them into different shapes and turn them into characters. eg. Triangular piece of watermelon could be a witches hat, sultanas could be eyes etc. Halloween is meant to be fun, so see what you can gather up, and spread Halloween cheer all over your house. Be resourceful, creative, and happy whilst making your halloween crafts.

ig black gumdrops with licorice laces become spiders on top of a cake or cupcake. Cut off the bottom of the gumdrop, and then lay it on top of 4 even lengths of laces, crossed, to make a spider and its legs. Plain white facial tissues, wrapped around a round lollipop (like a DumDum or a Tootsie Pop or a Blow Pop) and tied under the bulge make great ghosts. Both these are fun for parties.
